Prediction League 2.1.2 script details Prediction League is a plugin for all admins wanting to run a so called "pick-em league" on their sites, just like the famous prediction leagues on sites like ESPN or Yahoo.
The advantage is that all data is hosted locally, but there's a disadvantage as well, the plugin requiring lots of configuration to get the league started.
Admins have to manually enter each detail of their league, from the teams, rounds, each of the games, the match results, and so on.
To enter predictions, users must register on the site and enter their picks via a special page on the site's frontend, or they can email their picks to the admin who can also enter them in the backend.
After the game date passes and the game score is entered, the plugin automatically scores and ranks the users in an overall and round-by-round table.
The plugin can handle multiple leagues at the same time, and league setups can also be easily imported or exported.
Prediction League also lets webmasters customize its look on the frontend, along with the scoring rules used for each league in turn.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
